The lost vape grus is thr same way half my 21700s dont fit..the other half do..you'd think theyd make all the 21700 the same diameter🤦♂️🤷♂️
I've been using a Samsung 40t and a molicel in mine
21700 fit in mine perfect and the door doesn't rattle/move at all, but only had mine about 2 months so maybe they fixed these issues?
The aegis solo mod goes to 100w and its a single 18650

I use Samsung 21700's and have no issues with the size.
The colours on that one side is annoying though.
Would look nicer if it was just black, stainless, red etc…

Thanks V1ck, the smart load is cool, I like that. The easiest way to have it recognise the battery size is to have a button in the battery sled that only the 18650 extension tube corresponds with and when it pushes the button it drop 20% off the maximum wattage. 😃Cheers
Great review buddy! I have been using the Samsung 40T 21700 in mine and I have had no issue with it fitting. It is tight but still easy enough to pop in and out.

I love it.
I actually like the slim aesthetics and its ability to use a subtank and still look ok. I dont vape over 75w ever so purchasing another 200+ watt wouldnt make sense for me. Plus I really like this version of the tank. Ive heard such great things about these tanks but previous versions just didnt do it for me aesthetically. Different battery size is also nice. It shows Freemax is listening to the communities request for 21700 capable mods. I appreciate the honest review. TY

BTW that Golisi battery is one of the largest 21700 as it's closer to 22mm (21.8mm in diameter if I remember correctly),maybe try with a Samsung or a Molicell 21700 battery? What other 21700 cells have you tried in it if you don't mind me ask? It definitely seem way too tight for 21700,so hopefully they sort that out before they start selling them.

I know personally that golisi batteries are wrapped thick. Their the thickest wrapped 21700s that i own.
Hmmmm.. Maybe the Option of a Stainless Colorway for the mod might of been a Lot more tempting for me as i find the mod Way way to Bizzy not to mention the resin mismatchy action, their Tanks & coils however speak for themselves ,but Whom-eveer Designs the aesthetic of this mod needs to lay off the Good stuff for a touch hmm" glad to see China is still producing but for how long..? the cargo Freighters the massive upheaval due to this con-vid bollocks and on-mass loss of employment in the industrial Sector warrants a raised eyebrow towards the longevity of production" im always guessing about it but happy that your still doing what your doing and the ohmshow team are still putting out" so to speak, Cheer,s B-b

Did the 21700 fit in the dual version?
I'm not a stock coil tank user but its good to see another 21700 mod. You ought to try Samsung 30 or 40Ts as they are accurately sized, Golisi are a re-wrap company and the 21700s they use are good but a bit porky.

The only 21700 I've found to fit it is the Samsung 30T , that fits fine but the rest of my 21700s do not fit at all!

You've been in the game for a while, you know there are plenty of single 18650 mods that came out that claim to do 100w. So why is the fact that this (supposedly) does 100w with an 18650 an issue? That makes no sense to me. Especially since batteries have gotten a lot better in the 8yrs I've been vaping, and the boards in the mods are more advanced now also. Idk I'm not hating, or trying to start drama, just making a comment. Thats not an issue IMO. The mod is ugly AF though that is an issue lol
They really need to put something in the firmware so you can choose 18650 or 20700.
I don’t think anyone in the market has a chipset that can differentiate a 18650 from a 21700/20700.

i like the mod , I'm not into subohm tanks , rta is what i use , being able to insert the battery at any direction is ok but a reverse battery protection is doing the job , for me i vape at 25 to 30 watts at 0.5 ohms so a single 18650 is ok for me . 20700 is a plus for sure , yet i still believe that for my style of vaping the colossal comes first no matter how old it may be . nice unbiased review as always, take care Richard .

Have to say I like the battery polarity safety feature, but too tight battery fitting is dangerous potentially if the positive gets compressed removing or putting it in, doesn't take a great deal of pressure from what I remember from my tube days 🙈
