It's starting to actually get offensive and condensing that so many modern tablets have 1080p or lower resolution. I wish more small tablets had more appropriate resolutions like this one does.

Did you manage to install any newer custom roms? I still love mine but the missing security patches make me worried.
My experience using this tablet: battery is a total disaster. It drains really really fast while wifi is activated even if the screen is off so it's better to activate the plane mode if you are not going to use the tablet. You can buy a new battery and have a better perfomance but you don't get a huge difference. Software is another problem. You will need to use a custom rom with google services (and learn how to install it) or to use the original chinese/english version and learn how to install the google services and make it runs (which is not as easy as it was in chinese versions of xiaomi phones). I'm using the last developer chinese/english version which runs decently but it is stucked on android 5.1 and you can't use video on demand apps like netflix or hbo. Be aware of using fake multilanguage roms installed by the seller, they are not stable and they will bring you lot of problems. Be sure you don't need to use a lot of apps if you get the 16gb version. You can always insert a usb otg memory but you can't charge the tablet while you do it. Apart from that, the best of this tablet is by far the screen quality and the size. It's perfect to watch series or films and I also use it to study because it's very comfortable because of its 4:3 format. So, if you are a novel user, I don't recommend you to buy this tablet but if you are familiar with changing roms and you don't care charging the tablet each day, it can be a good option specialy if you want a really good screen and comfortable format.
in Vietnam, the old mipad 1 cost 45 USD. Is it worth?
